FAITH AND CALLING

Our Faith


The Hope Initiative was founded as a Christ centered organization and exist to bring God glory. We recognize that he has called us to serve others and that we have a responsibility to share God’s love and his redemptive plan for mankind according to the scripture.

“In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”
– Matthew 25:40

Statement of Faith

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, & inerrant Word of God in it’s original manuscripts. That it reveals the love of God and his plan for the world.

2. We believe that there is one God, who has revealed himself to us in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension, and in His personal return in power and glory.

4. We believe that all people everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God. That not only is  Jesus Christ the way, the truth, and the life—He is the only way. Salvation for the lost and sinful person only comes through the work of the cross.

5. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church.

6. We believe that the ministry of evangelism (sharing and proclaiming the message of salvation only possible by grace through faith in Jesus Christ) and discipleship (helping followers of Christ grow up into maturity in Christ) is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ.

 7. We believe God’s plan for human sexuality is to be expressed only within the context of marriage, that God created man and woman as unique biological persons made to complement each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society.

8. We believe that we must dedicate ourselves to prayer, to the service of our Lord, to His authority over our lives, and to the ministry of evangelism.

9. We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; and that we must have concern for the physical and spiritual needs of our fellowmen.

Our Calling

CHRIST CENTERED- God has called The Hope Initiative to share the gospel as we help the hurting.

HEALTHY GROWTH- God has called The Hope Initiative to grow as an organization and to prepare to respond to the increasing numbers of disaster around the world.

UNWAVERING FAITH- God has called The Hope Initiative to stretch beyond our own means trusting for him to provide and make a way.

URGENT CARE- God has called The Hope Initiative to have an attitude of urgency as we respond and meet the real and felt needs of people.

FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP- God has called The Hope Initiative to demonstrate integrity in financial, relational, and operational systems and processes.
